How To Refill
Your Lighter
Step 1
Set the flame adjuster to lowest position, toward the (-) symbol.
Step 2
Hold the lighter upside-down.
Step 3
Press the tip of the butane canister nozzle onto the lighter's filler valve and press down firmly for 2 to 3 seconds. Repeat.
Step 4
Wait two minutes before igniting to allow excess butane to evaporate and the lighter to reach room temperature. If hissing sound is heard, do not attempt to ignite and return for service.
Step 5
Rotate flame-height adjuster toward (+) symbol to adjust flame height, if desired.
How To Ignite
the Flame
Button Trigger
Open cover, press trigger down with thumb to ignite flame and hold trigger down to maintain flame [Figure 1].
SLIDE TRIGGER
Slide ignition switch down and to the side with thumb to ignite flame and hold down to maintain flame [Figure 2].
Squeeze Trigger
Open cover, squeeze ignition switch into lighter body with thumb to ignite flame and hold down to maintain flame [Figure 3]. To extinguish, release ignition trigger and close the cap.
